Where CarmaCars works

Sand Flat is not an area we serve directly. CarmaCars is based in Toronto. We do not deliver as far as Sand Flat, about 2,019 km from our location in Toronto.

For the days before or after a flight to Sand Flat, we can have a car for you in Toronto. Because Sand Flat is outside Ontario, the trip needs our written consent first. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Sand Flat if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.

Who rents this way

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice.

Worth knowing

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup.

Who qualifies

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Booking made plain

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Ready when you are

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
