Car Rental in Smithfield, VA

About renting in Smithfield

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Smithfield. The key point: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Our matching cars start at $50 a day before tax.

Honest about Smithfield

We do not have a location in Smithfield; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. At roughly 786 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Smithfield is outside our delivery area.

If you are travelling from Toronto, rent with us before you leave and drive the car there. Our cars can leave Ontario only with written consent from us, arranged before the trip. For anything about Smithfield, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

Typical renters

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

Reasons people rent from us

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. The offer is in writing, so you can check it before you agree. One small team handles your request from start to finish.

Licence, age and card

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

From request to keys

You ask for the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
