Who rents this way

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week.

The rules, briefly

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

How it works

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Next step

If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
