Turo Alternative in Ruby, WA

Your rental in Ruby

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. This page explains what that means if you need a rental car in Ruby. How it works: Rent from CarmaCars directly: one company handles the car, the rental agreement, the deposit and support from the request to the return. Send a request with no payment, and pay only once we confirm the car and the full price. Turo is named only to describe what you compared; CarmaCars is not affiliated with, approved or endorsed by Turo. The cars below show live prices before tax.

Our area and Ruby

Our only location is in Toronto; Ruby is outside the area we serve. The distance is about 3,125 km in a straight line, more than our delivery area of 250 km.

Back from Ruby and landing at Toronto Pearson? We can meet you there with a car. A border crossing needs our written consent in advance; ask in your request. A request about Ruby gets an honest answer from a person. All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Who rents this way

Visitors, locals between cars, families on a trip and people who need a second car for a while. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

What you get

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. A request is free and commits you to nothing. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

Know the area

If you are near Ruby, Brown Lake, Conconully and Mowich Illahee are close too.

Flying? Omak Airport is the nearest airport, about 16 km from Ruby.

Rules for renters

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

How to book

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
