Car Rental in Tyro, NC

Car Rental: Tyro

This page is for Tyro, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. What this means: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. You see the full price in the offer before you decide.

Where we work

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Tyro; we work from Toronto. Tyro is about 889 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 250 km.

What we can do: rent you a car in Toronto for the trip, with the kilometres you need. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent. Mention the route in your request. A request about Tyro gets an honest answer from a person. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Why people choose us

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Prices are shown car by car, and the offer lists every charge. You do not need to visit a branch: everything starts online.

Who rents from us

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

The booking steps

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Rules for renters

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
