Car Rental in Van, OR

Car Rental in Van

Searching for car rental in Van? Here is the honest picture from CarmaCars, a Toronto rental company. One thing to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Our team reads every request; there is no automatic booking.

Before you plan around us

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Van. Measured in a straight line, Van is about 3,123 km from central Toronto; we deliver within about 80 km.

Visiting Toronto from Van? We can meet you with a car when you arrive. A rental can leave Ontario only with our written consent, agreed before you go. If you want to check something for Van, send a request; a person replies honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.

What to expect

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser. The same team handles your request, your handover and your questions.

When it makes sense

Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days. Anyone who needs a car for a few days without owning one.

About Van

If you are close to Van, you may also be near Frost Mill, Trout Creek and Drewsey.

Burns Municipal Airport (BNO) is the closest airport, about 49 km from Van.

Requesting a car

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Rules for renters

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

Still deciding?

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
