Before pickup

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

How booking works

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
