Renting for Java

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,639 km from Java, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Selby, Lowry and Sitka are the closest places to Java on our list.

About the colour

If blue matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for blue and we try. In blue, the RDX looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page.

Reading the spec sheet

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 10-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 29 litres, from its 9.8 L/100 km rating. At our price setting, it costs about $17.15 to drive 100 km.

What the RDX is like

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Who it is for

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Renting it

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

How it works

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

What we ask of drivers

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Your move

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
