Specs, explained

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

A combined rating of 7.8 L/100 km works out to about 23 litres per 300 km. At our price setting, it costs about $13.65 to drive 100 km.

Best uses

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Inside and out

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

Who can rent

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

The steps

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
