Renting for Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,072 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

Close by are Tara Village, South Side and Howe, each with its own page.

Choosing a colour

In black, the A4 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. Tell us if black is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly. Colour is confirmed in your offer, never before.

What the figures tell you

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Combined fuel use is 7.8 L/100 km: about 23 litres for 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $40.95 in energy at our price setting.

What to expect from the A4

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. At 368 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Getting this car from us

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Who qualifies

We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Your booking, in three steps

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Make a request

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
