Knobs and the A4

What the figures tell you

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Its combined rating is 7.9 L/100 km, which means roughly 24 litres for 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $41.49 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Space and size

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. NHTSA's Canadian figures put it at 4.76 m long. Check the size of a tight parking spot. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Our A4 cars

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What we need from you

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

From request to keys

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

One more step

When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.
