Colour notes

If you want it in brown, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. A brown car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for brown and we try.

The figures, translated

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo; drive: front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Fuel use is rated 7.9 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 24 litres. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $13.83, and a 300 km weekend about $41.49.

What the A4 is like

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Measured bumper to bumper, it is 4.76 m. Check the size of a tight parking spot. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Can you rent one?

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What to have ready

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Booking, step by step

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Ready when you are

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
