Ruby and the A4

Next door to Ruby are Zadow, Castile and Silver Lake.

Colour notes

A grey car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for grey in your request. In grey, the A4 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page.

Engine and fuel

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo drives through a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Rated at 7.9 L/100 km combined, it needs around 24 litres for a 300 km round trip. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $13.83, and a 300 km weekend about $41.49.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Living with the A4

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Length: 4.76 m. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Its 368 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

How a booking comes together

You request the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Driver requirements

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
