A note on Java

Places around Java include Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

The A4 in green

We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for green and we try. Ask for green in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer.

Engine and fuel

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 7.9 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 24 litres of fuel. In energy, every 100 km costs about $13.83 at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Practical details

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. At 4.76 m long, it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is 368 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

In our fleet

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

From your dates to the handover

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

What to bring

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
