In black

We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for black and we try. If black matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates. Our black cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one.

What the figures tell you

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $128.70 at our price setting.

Size and space

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Can I rent it?

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Checking your details

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Request, offer, keys

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

One more step

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
