If you need a car by the month, the 2021 Audi A4 Komfort is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

Java and the A4

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 770 km away.

Nearby places include Lucks, Ebenezer and Shockoe.

Under the hood

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It is rated 8.3 L/100 km combined: about 25 litres every 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

What the A4 is like

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Can you rent one?

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

The booking steps

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Who qualifies

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
