Bathurst and the A4

Bathurst is about 1,140 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Bathurst.

Nearby places include Big River, Carron Point and Chamberlain Settlement.

Reading the spec sheet

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Room inside

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Can you rent one?

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

How a booking comes together

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Licence, age and card

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Next step

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
