The 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv: Courtesy car

Bathurst and the A4

Bathurst is about 1,140 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Bathurst.

Big River, Carron Point and Chamberlain Settlement are the neighbouring places on our list.

Reading the spec sheet

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

What the A4 is like

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting the A4 from CarmaCars

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

How it works

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

The rules, briefly

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
