What the figures tell you

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. Expect about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

What to expect from the A4

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent it from us

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

Your request, our offer, your keys

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

What we ask of drivers

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

Ready when you are

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
