Specs, explained

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

By the EPA's combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 25 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $12.87 at our price setting.

Practical details

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Our A4 cars

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

Request, offer, keys

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What we check

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
