Driver requirements

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
