Choosing a colour

A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for orange in your request. Our orange cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one. In orange, the Silverado looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page.

Under the hood

Its powertrain is the 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo with rear-wheel drive. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

Expect about 26 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.8 L/100 km combined rating. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $40.92 at our price setting.

Who rents the Silverado

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

What the Silverado is like

It is built for loads that would never fit in a trunk.

In our fleet

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Before you rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Your booking, in three steps

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
