About the colour

Our red cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for red and we try. Ask for red in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car.

Under the hood

The 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo does the work, through an 8-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 7.8 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 23 litres. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.09 at our price setting.

Practical details

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Rent this car

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Rules for renters

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

From your dates to the handover

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
