How a booking comes together

Driver basics

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
