The 2024 Ford Escape Active at a glance

Here is the 2024 Ford Escape Active in plain words: what it is, what it uses, and who it suits. As the entry trim, the Active starts the 2024 Ford Escape lineup.

Patsy and the Escape

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,196 km from Patsy, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Patsy starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Close by are Elaver, Cherry Valley and Midland, each with its own page.

About the colour

The studio image shows the Escape in black; photos of each real car are on its page. Ask for black in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for black in your request.

Engine and fuel

Its 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo drives through an 8-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Rated at 7.9 L/100 km combined, it needs around 24 litres for a 300 km round trip. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.25 at our price setting.

The Escape in everyday use

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Who the Escape suits

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Renting it

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

Requesting a car

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Who can rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

When you know your dates
