Rules for renters
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
