The steps

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

What we ask of drivers

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
