Meet the 2020 Honda Pilot LX

Renting for Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

The pages for Selby, Lowry and Sitka cover the areas next door.

Colour notes

We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for brown and we try. If you want it in brown, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. Our brown cars, when we have them, appear first in the list.

What the specs mean

The 3.5L 6-cylinder does the work, through a 9-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Expect about 31 litres for every 300 km, going by its 10.4 L/100 km combined rating. That works out to about $16.12 per 100 km at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Our Pilot cars

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Before you rent

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

What to expect when you book

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. You pay when you approve, and only then.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

When you know your dates

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
