What to know about the 2012 Maybach 57
The 2012 Maybach 57, a large sedan, is set out here year by year.
The numbers in plain words
Power: the 5.5L 12-cylinder turbo; drive: rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference. The automatic gearbox makes city traffic easy.
Rated at 19.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 58 litres for a 300 km round trip. Around town it is rated at 22.8 L/100 km; on the highway, 14.9. In energy, every 100 km costs about $33.78 at our price setting. We count premium at $1.75 a litre for the cost figures on this page.
Longer drives
For a trip out of Ontario, ask first: it needs our written consent. Return the car with the same fuel it had at pickup. Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Space and size
As a large sedan, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is 425 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.
Renting this car
None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Request, offer, keys
A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
Driver requirements
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
