What the figures tell you
The 1.5L 4-cylinder is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow. It shifts by itself; there is no clutch pedal to think about.
Its combined rating is 6.5 L/100 km, which means roughly 20 litres for 300 km. City and highway ratings are 7.2 and 5.7 L/100 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $10.08.
What the 2 is like
Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. EPA lists 453 litres of luggage space, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.
Taking it further
For a trip out of Ontario, ask first: it needs our written consent. Plan longer trips against the kilometres included each day. A long weekend away is easy to price with the figures on this page.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Can you rent one?
There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
What to expect when you book
First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.
Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
Licence, age and card
From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
Send a request
The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
