Licence, age and card
Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
What to expect when you book
Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.
Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
