Renting: the basics

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
