Choosing a colour

If you want it in silver, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. Tell us if silver is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly. Our silver cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one.

Under the hood

The engine is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive and a 1-speed automatic. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Rated energy use is 18.6 kWh per 100 km. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. Expect about $2.79 per 100 km at our price setting.

Room inside

Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its 425 litre trunk is enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Who rents the Model 3

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one.

Can you rent one?

Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What we need from you

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

Your request, our offer, your keys

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
