The Model 3 in brown

The studio image shows the Model 3 in brown; photos of each real car are on its page. The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. Our brown cars, when we have them, appear first in the list.

Reading the spec sheet

Power comes from the electric motor, driving through a 1-speed automatic. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It uses 18.6 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 56 kWh of charge. A full charge is rated for 507 km; plan for less in the cold. In money, 1,000 km costs about $27.90 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Model 3

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Room inside

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. With 425 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes a family's bags for a long weekend.

In our fleet

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

Checking your details

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

What happens when you ask for a car

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
