Rent a silver 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance in Ruby

The 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance in plain words

The 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance is a compact SUV; here is what that means for you. The Performance is the top trim of the 2020 Tesla Model Y in Canada.

The Model Y and Ruby

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 2,589 km from Ruby, and does not deliver there. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Ruby.

Around Ruby you will also find Alder, Laurin and Junction.

Colour notes

The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. Our silver cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one. Want silver? Put it in the request.

The numbers in plain words

The powertrain to know here is the electric motor, with all-wheel drive. It is fully electric: no gas at all, and you return it with the charge it had at pickup. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For every 100 km it uses about 17.4 kWh. Rated range: 507 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $7.83 at our price setting.

Space and size

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

A good match for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits people who want to try an electric car before buying one.

Rent it from us

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What to bring

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

How a booking comes together

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Ready when you are

Questions, dates or both: put them in a request and we answer.
