What the specs mean

It is powered by the 1.8L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Its combined rating is 7.5 L/100 km, which means roughly 23 litres for 300 km. That works out to about $11.63 per 100 km at our price setting.

Size and space

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. EPA lists 368 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Before pickup

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Getting the car booked

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
