A note on Java

Java is about 1,639 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

The pages for Selby, Lowry and Sitka cover the areas next door.

Choosing a colour

A orange car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. Ask for orange in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. If orange matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates.

What the figures tell you

Power: the 1.8L 4-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

A combined rating of 7.5 L/100 km works out to about 23 litres per 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $116.30.

Size and space

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

Booking in plain terms

Send a request for the car and dates you have in mind. It is free and it commits you to nothing. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

What to have ready

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
