About the colour

A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for silver in your request. Ask for silver in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for silver and we try.

Engine and fuel

The powertrain here is the 1.8L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 23 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.5 L/100 km combined rating. That works out to about $11.63 per 100 km at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

What to expect from the Corolla

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA lists 368 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting this car

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below.

The steps

You request the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Before you rent

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
