Car Buffing: what is involved

Say when the car is free, and we suggest a time that works. We reply with a price and a time, and nothing is booked until you agree. You get a price for your car before anything is done. Tell us whether the car can be dropped off or needs to be picked up.

Before you drop the car off

Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.

Planning around the work

Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental.

Aftercare

A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint. If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us.

What goes into a quote

Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer.
