Car Buffing: what is involved
CarmaCars has no location in Mascot; we do paint correction in the Toronto area. The short version: Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint.
What happens after you ask
A short description of the problem is enough to start. A person reads each request and replies within one business day. There is no one price: we quote your car after seeing the details. If you have a deadline, put it in the request.
What affects the price
We price the job before we start, never after. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. Larger vehicles take more product and more hours, so they cost more.
After the work
Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
How long you are without it
Tell us the date you need the car back, and we say whether it is realistic. If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in. Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover.
A few things first
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Child seats can be taken out so the seats under them get cleaned. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
