Car Buffing: what is involved
Car Buffing in Montesano: CarmaCars works in the Toronto area only, so here is the honest picture. Buffing the paint by machine, usually before a wax or a coating. Paint correction is machine polishing that takes out swirls and light scratches; deep scratches may need paint. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
Booking a time
Send the make, model and year, what you want done, and when suits you. A person replies with a price and a time, and you decide. We price each job once we know the car and what it needs. Photos help: a few pictures of the problem make the quote more accurate.
Before you drop the car off
Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one.
Planning around the work
We keep you posted if the timing changes. If the work runs longer than planned, we let you know and you can keep the rental. Most small jobs fit within a day; larger ones are booked over several days.
How the price is set
A quote lists what is included, so you can compare it fairly. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do.
After the work
If anything about the work looks wrong after you collect the car, tell us. Hand washing is gentler than automatic brushes on any finish.
