The figures, translated

It uses the electric motor and all-wheel drive. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Energy use is rated at 15.6 kWh/100 km, about 47 kWh for 300 km. Rated range: 568 km. Winter and highway speeds bring it down. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $2.34, and a 300 km weekend about $7.02.

Best uses

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Space, size and seats

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. With 425 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes a family's bags for a long weekend.

Renting the Model 3 from CarmaCars

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer.

How to book

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Who can rent

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

When you know your dates

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
