Booking the work for the Forester

Searching for auto paint for the 2020 Subaru Forester Touring? Here is how CarmaCars handles it. Paint work is matched to the original colour, panel by panel or the whole car.

What your car means for the work

As a compact SUV, it has more paint, glass and interior than a small car, so the work takes longer. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in. Keep the repair invoice with the car's records.

What to send us

A person reads your request and replies with the next step. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate.

A car while yours is in

Add a rental to your request, and we deliver it to you. A rental means the work does not stop your week. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

What to bring

Ask any question you have before the work starts. If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Bring the claim number and your adjuster's details if the repair is a claim.

Keeping it that way

Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car. Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior.

When the car is ready

Waiting on parts is the most common reason a repair takes longer. If the car must stay overnight, we tell you before it comes in.

What affects the price

The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes. Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. For repairs, the price depends on the parts, the paint and the hours of work.
