The 2020 Subaru Forester Touring: Car diagnostics

Need a diagnostic check for the 2020 Subaru Forester Touring? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

Your car, your notes

The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Forester. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The 2.5L 4-cylinder does the work, through an automatic (CVT).

From request to repair

Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.

Your rental while you wait

The rental is priced like any other on our site. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.

Small things that help

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.

Before the shop starts

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Over to you

Send the car's details and the job, and we take the next step.
