Auto rental: the 2019 Audi A4 Progressiv

For a rental car, the 2019 Audi A4 Progressiv is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

The A4 and Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,072 km from Java, and does not deliver there.

Tara Village, South Side and Howe are the closest places to Java on our list.

The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo does the work, through a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 23 litres, from its 7.8 L/100 km rating. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $40.95 at our price setting.

How big it is

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. With 368 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Getting one from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The steps

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

Who can rent

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
