Auto rental: the 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv

Auto rental: the 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

The A4 and Kickapoo

Around Kickapoo you will also find Olin, Edwards and Orange Prairie.

Reading the spec sheet

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $128.70 at our price setting.

Space and size

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Our A4 cars

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.

Who can rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

Request, offer, keys

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
