Minivan rental: silver 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv in Kickapoo

Minivan rental: the 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv

If you need a van or a seven-seat car, the 2021 Audi A4 Progressiv is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. Seven seats or more take a whole group in one vehicle.

The A4 and Kickapoo

Close by are Olin, Edwards and Orange Prairie, each with its own page.

What the specs mean

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

It is rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 25 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

What the A4 is like

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Our A4 cars

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

How it works

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

What you need to rent

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Ready when you are

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
