Specs, explained

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 9.7 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 29 litres of fuel. For 1,000 km, budget about $169.70 at our price setting.

How big it is

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height. The length is 4.66 m. It fits most condo and driveway spots.

Good uses for the Q5

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Getting one from us

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Driver requirements

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

From your dates to the handover

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
