Renting the 2020 Audi Q5 Technik

Auto rental: the 2020 Audi Q5 Technik. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar.

A note on Java

If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

The pages for Selby, Lowry and Sitka cover the areas next door.

Specs, explained

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

A combined rating of 9.7 L/100 km works out to about 29 litres per 300 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $169.70 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

What to expect from the Q5

Being a compact SUV, it handles luggage, strollers and sports gear well. NHTSA lists it at 4.66 m long. It fits most condo and driveway spots.

Renting this car

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check.

Booking with CarmaCars

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Licence, age and card

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
