Specs, explained

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

It is rated 7.9 L/100 km combined: about 24 litres every 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $138.30 at our price setting.

Size and space

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The body is 4.76 m long and 1.85 m wide. Check the size of a tight parking spot. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Can I rent it?

From your dates to the handover

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Checking your details

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
